Worsted Weight Yarn
1/8 oz. black or dark brown
small amount of gold or yellow for buckle
Size G crochet hook
Finished size: 2 inches round x 1 3/4 inches highDirections
ch 2
Rnd 1: 9 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
Rnd 2: (2 sc in ea sc) around. (18)
Rnd 3: (sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc) Join with
slip stitch in first sc.(24)
Rnd 4: ch 1, (sc in back loop only for this round)
sc in ea sc around.(24)
Rnds 5 - 6: (both loops) sc in ea sc around.
Rnd 7: sc next 2 sc tog, sc, hdc, dc in next four sc,
hdc, sc, sc next 2 sc tog, sl st in next 5 sc, sc,
hdc in next two sc, sc, sl st in next 5 sc.
Rnd 8: sc, hdc in next 5 st, sc, sl st in next st,
leaving the rest of the round unworked. End off.Buckle: With same color used for shoes, ch 4,
(working in one loop of chain only) sc in 2nd ch from hook,
sc in next 2 ch. (3 sc) End off.
Attach gold or yellow. sl st in ea sc across top,
2 sl st in corner st, sl st in edge of st on side,
2 sl st in corner st, sl st in ea ch across bottom,
2 sl st in corner st, sl st in edge of st up other side,
2 sl st in corner st, sl st in first sl st. End off.
Leaving one end for sewing, weave in ends. Sew buckle on
(with a few stitches at the center) to the center front of
shoe at about row 7.
